4. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

I rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent – when you submit a contact form or consent to receive healing services

  • Pre-contractual steps – when you request a free discovery call or initial consultation

  • Contract – when you book a session or engage in services

  • Legitimate interest – when responding to general enquiries or managing session communications

  • Legal obligation – to retain certain records for tax, insurance or legal reasons

  • Vital interests – where processing is necessary to protect your wellbeing in exceptional or emergency circumstances

Data is retained only for as long as necessary, in line with legal and ethical guidance.

7. Sub-Processors and Third-Party Services

I use carefully selected third-party services (sub-processors), including:

  • Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace Scheduling) – booking management and intake forms

  • Stripe – secure online payment processing

  • Zoom – delivery of online discovery calls and sessions

  • Squarespace – website hosting and analytics

  • Email and cloud service providers – secure email communications, calendars and data storage

These providers process personal data only as necessary to deliver their services and in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected using appropriate safeguards.

7A. Video Conferencing (Zoom)

I use Zoom to provide free discovery calls, online energetic healing sessions, consultations and meetings. When you join a Zoom call, personal data such as your name, email address, IP address, device information and audio/video data may be processed.

Calls and sessions are not recorded. No video or audio content is stored by me after a Zoom call has ended.

Zoom processes personal data on my behalf as a data processor under a legally binding Data Processing Agreement (DPA) which incorporates the UK GDPR and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international data transfers. Zoom may process data in the United States or other jurisdictions where appropriate safeguards are in place.

The lawful basis for this processing is pre-contractual steps taken at your request (for free discovery calls), performance of a contract (for paid sessions), and/or your explicit consent. Further information about Zoom’s data processing can be found at:

8. Sharing Your Information

I do not sell, rent or share your personal data with unauthorised third parties.

Your information is only shared with:

  • The sub-processors listed above, strictly for service delivery
